Silent Wings

Some of our members have been visiting a group who has been undertaking a terrific restoration, with the goal of rebuilding a CG-4A Glider. These gliders were built in massive numbers by the Northwest Aeronautical Corporation out of the Twin Cities. One of the subcontractors during the War, Villaume Industries, has allowed volunteers to use some of the space in their building to manufacturer parts and assemble the glider. For more info, check out this article written by our new PIO (Public Information Officer) Joe Palmersheim: http://mnsun.com/articles/2010/01/30/headlines/705fw04gliders.txt
